1. Accounts & eligibility
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the Services.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your account and for activities under it.
- Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
2. Services
We provide cohort‑based learning, mentorship, and related tools. We may add, modify, or discontinue features. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
3. Payments & refunds
- Fees are shown at checkout or in your order form and are due in advance unless stated otherwise.
- For cohort programs, you may request a pro‑rated refund within 7 days of the cohort start if you have attended fewer than two sessions.
- Discounts or scholarships may have additional eligibility criteria.
4. User content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a non‑exclusive licence to use it for operating and improving the Services. You are responsible for having the rights to the content you upload.
5. Code of conduct
- Be respectful, constructive, and inclusive.
- No harassment, discrimination, plagiarism, or unlawful activity.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts violating these rules.
6. Intellectual property
All site materials (excluding your content) are owned by MentorCloud or its licensors and protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without permission.
7. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes, job placement, or earnings.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MentorCloud is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability for any claims is limited to the amounts you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Services. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts in England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, except that consumers may bring claims in their local courts as permitted by law.
